“i will not go quietly into that good night, but instead rage against the dying of the light.”
-Dylan Thomas
What a wild ride life is. With all its many ups and downs. But through the chaos we find ourselves. By finding ourselves, we have these intense and wondrous experiences. Making profound connections as we go. Falling victim to love.
In this transient life we were given, I am here to encourage you to not live quietly. Instead, ‘rage against the dying of the light.’ Scream from the rooftops. Live out loud to your fullest ability. Fall in love with everything you can, and definitely do not miss any opportunity to capture it.

I first got into photography because I loved watching the photoshoots on America’s Next Top Model. As problematic as that show was, I felt drawn to the wild concepts the photographers curated. It created a spark within me. Today, that spark has grown into a full blown inferno. Outside of weddings, my heart is still fueled by editorial work. Whether you’re looking for branding content for your business or just a personal fun shoot, an editorial session is the perfect way to capture yourself in your truest form.

Once we have chatted a bit and decided on the right amount of coverage for you, I will email over all the information you need including a contract. If everything looks good, you can sign the contract electronically and send it back to me. All I require to secure your date is a 30% retainer fee. The remaining balance isn’t due until 30 days before your wedding.

For lifestyle & editorial sessions, online galleries will be delivered via email within 3-4 weeks after the session.
For weddings, both an online gallery & a keepsake USB will be provided 6-8 weeks after the big day. Online galleries will be delivered via email. For clients residing in Baton Rouge, USBs can be exchanged over a coffee date (or ice cream, or whatever your favorite treat may be), OR you can pick it up at my studio. For clients residing outside of Baton Rouge, USB can be mailed to you for convenience. -
I would like to preface that I do not like to put a cap on the number of images for a session. I fully believe it depends on how that individual session unfolds.
For lifestyle & editorial sessions, your gallery can have anywhere from 50 - 400 photos depending on the length of your session. You will then have the opportunity to download a number of those images as high-resolution (print quality), non-watermarked digital photos. This number depends on the type of session you book. Please inquire for more details.
For weddings, you can receive anywhere from 400 - 1500 high-resolution images depending on the amount of coverage in your package. These photos will be delivered both via USB & your online gallery.

I like my sessions to be freeing and laid back. More go with the flow, rather than formal and structured. You can expect a few guided prompts and poses, but mostly I will encourage you to be in the moment with yourself and your loved ones. You can expect to laugh, as I don’t like to take things too seriously. I will be your biggest cheerleader, encouraging you to just be yourself along the way. Definitely expect to leave the session having made a new friend!

For my lifestyle sessions, my number one piece of advice is to wear something that feels most like you. Make sure it is something you feel both comfortable and confident in. This session is all about you, so you should definitely wear something that speaks to who you are. That being said, I do advise staying away from loud and busy patterns as they tend to be distracting. When trying to match outfits for multiple people in one session, think complimentary colors. It doesn’t have to all be the same color. I, personally, love a good neutral pallet as I think it compliments any and all backdrops. If you would like further assistance, a copy of my style guide can be acquired.
For my editorial sessions, once again I encourage you to wear something you feel comfortable and confident in, but I also encourage you to find pieces that adhere to your story or message. A brainstorming session and a little mood board creating is a fantastic way to nail now the look and style. Please inquiry if you would like to set up a consultation to discuss a vision!

Unfortunately for us living in south Louisiana, rain is a big part of our lives. During the summer months, it seems like it rains every day.
As for lifestyle and editorial sessions, I like to wait until about an hour or so before the session is scheduled to take place before calling it. We all know how unpredictable this weather can be. The next step would be to reschedule at the next available date. There is no fee for this reschedule.
For weddings, I know rain is not on the game plan, but we will not let it ruin our day! We will adapt. No matter what it takes, I am dedicated to making this a day to remember. Rainy photos can be really fun, but I am also well equipped to work indoors with additional light if needed. Don’t stress. You will be in good hands.
